Insurance & Payment Information

At Ascend Counseling and Therapeutic Services, I understand that navigating insurance and out-of-pocket costs can feel overwhelming. My goal is to make it easier for you.

Using Your Insurance

Your sessions may be fully or partially covered by your health insurance or employee assistance program (EAP). I’m committed to helping you navigate the process with ease.

I am currently in-network with the following insurance providers:

  • Premera Blue Cross
  • Regence Blue Shield
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • Kaiser Permanente (PPO plans only)
  • UnitedHealthcare (Optum)

If your plan isn’t listed, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits. I can provide a superbill for reimbursement if needed.

To confirm your coverage, I recommend calling your insurance provider. Here are a few helpful questions to ask:

  • Do I have mental health benefits for outpatient therapy?
  • What is my deductible, and has it been met?
  • How many sessions are covered per year?
  • What is my copay or coinsurance per therapy session?
  • Do I need pre-authorization or a referral from my primary care doctor?

Cancellation Policy

If you’re unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. This allows me to offer that time to another client.

Missed appointments or late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) will be charged the full session fee.
